Day 8 - National Science Week

Today we bagged and tagged some more basalt samples from a seamount further north. It is a real privalege to be on the RV Investigator for a month to uncover unknown secrets about the mystical submerged continent of Zealandia. That our voyage coincides nicely with National Science Week is just the cherry on the cake - or icecream on the sticky date pudding.
