Day 11 - Dredgement Day

Today we worked three dredges, all of them returned nothing.

So in our ample spare time I decided to test out all of the camera settings…

The Lexington Seamount

The whole day was not wasted though. We had one more attempt at the seamount and retrieved a single altered piece of basalt

Catch of the day.
Catch of the day.

Aside from this small nugget, the Lexington Seamount will remain unexplored and its secrets kept intact. The only possible explanation is an army of merpeople taking rocks out of our dredge to protect the secrets of their underwater city. You win this round, merpeople.
