Dredges

A final flurry of dredges before the science deadline saw 5 dredges in 24 hours.

Relief after the final dredge was processed.

It all paid off - we got some great basalt samples from two seamounts in the Lord Howe hotspot chain, and some beautifully preserved coral.

BBQ on the deck

This evening we gave chef a break and cooked a BBQ on deck 5.

Dredgebusters premiere + trivia

The feature premiere of Dredgebusters was featured in the lounge. Stay tuned on social media for the full length feature (pending review by the RV Investigator social media officers).

Later we split into teams for trivia hosted by the amazing quiz meister, Jamie Menzies.
